I couldn't open up the link so I'm not sure if these thoughts were included. I think good mental health involves insight and willingness to tackle problems as well as wisdom and delayed gratification. This might seem a lot to ask for because even people without mental illness might not have these traits but I think and hope that these parts of our brains are not effected so that we cannot achieve this.

Sometimes i just rather bury my head into the ground and not deal with it. i have hard times trusting.

Yes I think there is a lot of truth in that.

M.S. Peck quoted that in the road less travelled he was paraphrasing Freud (1925) Mischel backed this up from londitudinal experiment studies
