English is my mother Tongue but having grown up in Quebec (la belle province) I am fluent in Canada's other official language, French. I also speak decent Spanish and a smattering of Latin. I love having more than one language!

I'm in a close relationship with my English dictionary, one language is plenty for my not so miraculous cerebral cortex.

I love the way the Dutch language sounds when Alex
Rawlings was speaking it. Maybe I will try picking
up some Dutch, for fun.

Although I know English, of course, I only know muy poquito
Espanol (very little Spanish) and 2 complete phrases of
German. Mein wagen ist kaput (My car is brokedown) may
come in handy, but Ich aribitet sie en haute abent (I
study in the evening) is less likely to be needed.

I am in awe that most of you can speak more than one language for I can only speak English... Oh, how I wish I had done better now that we are a virtual global village!

Thank you most kindly for your feedback...
for without same... we may well not exist here, David

Too often we underestimate the power of a
touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

I speak, read and write French fluently, speak German passably,
and Latin passably.

No Spanish, oddly.
