Can't find a place for requests for help with housing. Is it hiding, and if so, where?
I've been advised to find an independent living facility in San Diego. Unfortunately, while there seems to be copious numbers of ILFs for seniors in San Diego CA, other than a two page list I received from NAMI San Diego ILFs for the disabled are rarer then hen's teeth in a bird with gum disease. You get the impression that middle aged men with clinical depression don't need special housing in San Diego County?
If you know of any, or know of any agencies in San Diego County who have a reasonably up-to-date list in San Diego, please reply with the information. But be warned, the center for independent living (CIL), Acess to Independence, in San Diego wouldn't know an ILC from an abcessed lobe.
Thanks for your time, and thanks for any help you can provide.
Alan
Trying to find an independent living facility in San Diego is like trying to find a whiskey bar in Riyadh. |
